What is Soft Washing?

Soft washing is a process in which specially mixed detergents and solutions safely clean a surface to rid of dirt, grime, algae, bacteria, and mold WITHOUT the use of high pressure. Killing any mold, algae, or bacteria that may be on a surface extends the life of the materials and keeps them looking cleaner for a longer amount of time.

Soft Washing Vs. Pressure Washing

Pressure washing uses force to clean surfaces like concrete or hard surfaces but may not be necessarily be needed in certain applications. In areas with more delicate areas soft washing is needed to safely clean without damaging the materials.

What are the black streaks on my roof? Will I have to replace my roof?

The black streaks commonly seen on roofs is an algae called gloeocapsa magma or black mold. Gloeocapsa magma will spread throughout the roof over time and will break down the granules in the shingles. If you see these black streaks you do not necessarily need to replace your roof. It is important to professionally clean your roof regularly (WITHOUT pressure) to lengthen its lifespan.

What is oxidation?

Oxidation occurs usually on siding or the exterior of buildings when the surface is exposed to prolonged sunlight. Oxygen mixes with the chemicals that make up the material (like vinyl) and creates a chalky texture which discolors the material. We have specific and eco-friendly detergents which will eliminate oxidation and get your surfaces looking like new.

How do I know what services I will need? 

If there is any type of discoloration, or streaking on the exterior of your home, business, surfaces, or fencing, it's time for a wash.
